I had three large brand development projects back to back and it was the first time I'd ever had to stretch myself creatively to think about three entirely different brands at one time. It was a challenge to say the least! I really had to work hard on spending significant time on each project and complete it it bit by bit when my normal is to have multiple windows open jump from project to project but it just wasn't gonna work. But I accomplished three different projects at one time and all of my clients responded very well.
Tara Teng is a public speaker, human rights activist, empowering young women, Miss World Canada 2012 and an all around amazing wife, mom and friend. She came to me a few months ago and shared her heart on an organization she's been working with. Reigning Grace is an organization that helps women escape sexual exploitation and/or recover from drug and alcohol addiction. Tara expressed for me her desire for the brand to represent Reigning Grace as a place where healing and wholeness occurs, women bloom and blossom in self confidence and self esteem, and where their own worth. It was a mandate I didn't take lightly. I began to dwell on the right style, colours, illustrations and font that would portray this. I put together an inspiration board for colours and style and started working on my initial logos.
The team at Reigning Grace really loved the option with the crown. They asked for a few modifications and we finalized a beautiful logo.
I am thankful for this organization's commitment to the young women they work with. They never lose hope of who these women are and can become. That is beyond admirable.
