Christmas Cards!!

Can you believe it's almost the end of October? I always feel like  fall goes by so so quick. Once Thanksgiving is done I'm ready for Christmas! This year I wanted to really challenge myself as I approached Christmas cards because I know there are so many options out there and I appreciate every one of my clients that order from me and I wanted to give the best designs I could.  With that said I've got a few different options for you so here we go!

When I choose any cards to send out whether it be Christmas, birth announcements or even helping clients with engagement/wedding invites that they would like to use their photos on I also say choose the photo(s) you would like to use before you choose the design. The design is an accent to your already gorgeous family. You can always choose a few photos you like and then find which one your prefer with the design you choose. Once you choose your photo(s) head to to choose your design and move forward on your order. Remember you can't order until tomorrow night at 7 PM.

In your checkout you'll be asked to add your personal greeting you'd like on the bottom of your personalized card but you can also add a greeting to the back of your card for an additional $5. There are two options for QTY 50 and 100 and every order comes with white envelopes.

There are also different options to receive your cards:

  • For local residents you can pick up anytime up until December 10, 2016. I live in the Fraser Valley just outside Vancouver, BC. Use the local resident pick up option when checking out.
  • For residents in Victoria, BC or on the island that are willing to drive down to Victoria I will be in Victoria, BC on November 19, 2016 from 10 AM - 1 PM at Uptown Centre and you can pick them up from there. However with this option you must purchase no later than November 9, 2016 at 4 PM. Use the Victoria pick up option in check out.
  • There is also two shipping options: Within BC shipping ($4) and outside BC ($8).

Two final notes orders will be 10% off until November 11, 2016 at 7 PM using code: 2016christmascards. And lastly do your absolute best to avoid low resolution pictures. Low resolution means that the photo is too small to fill up that particular space. Digital photos are measured in pixels.  Resolution refers to the number of pixels in an inch. Generally, a quality print has 300 pixels per inch. So if you're printing a tiny photo passport photo, for example, it could be 300 pixels by 300 pixels and still print nicely at 1 inch wide and 1 inch tall. If you take that same photo, though, and blow it up to poster size, it will look terrible. In other words don't use photos that are:

  • downloaded or a screenshot from a website
  • taken on a camera phone
  • you received proof photos from a professional photographer
