Chic Modern Wedding with a Rustic Twist

When I received the photos from this wedding in June I knew I needed to blog about it right away. I think this may be one of my most favourite weddings to date. Megan reached out to me in January and she had such a beautiful vision for her day. She’s incredibly creative and brought together her chic rustic wedding. She balanced the rusticness of the venue with the chicness of the bridal party’s attire, florals and decor elements. Friends this wedding is stunning! Megan you did such an incredible job to bring together a beautiful wedding in the midst of change and COVID restrictions!

For Megan and Jed’s Signage we went with hand painted. So each sign was cut, sanded, painted black and then I hand painted the calligraphy on top. It’s more work at the end of the day but the final product is stunning. The theme of this wedding really suited the hand painted signs. It turned out so chic!

Jed (the Groom) actually built this “archway” for the ceremony. I love it sooooo much. It’s so incredibly unique!

Megan and Jed I wish you a lifetime of joy together, a lifetime of “I choose to love you” even when marriage feels more like work than joy. Your marriage is always worth fixing, fighter for and always worth doing whatever it takes to bring it back to life. All the best you two! xo.
